UST Umweltsensortechnik GmbH (Germany)

UST is developing state of the art triple sensors for the detection of toxic and otherwise harmful compounds in the soil. The sensors are used in the assembly of the probe, which is developed by SonicSampDrill.
Since foundation in 1991 UST has enjoyed a period of continuous and successful growth. Modern manufacturing and testing facilities and laboratories are located in a 400 m2 building in Germany. At the heart of manufacturing are advanced application and structuring machines for producing gas and temperature sensors.
Internationally recognized know-how and patented technology for sensors underpin the processing of ceramic materials, and application and structuring of thin and thick film layers. Leading manufacturers in the automotive industry use UST produced sensors for their air quality systems. Automatic control of the air circulation within a motor vehicle prevents harmful exhaust gases and other external pollution from entering the passenger compartment.
Other important uses of UST sensors are within environmental protection and food testing.
