Advanced in-situ soil investigation method for identifying and characterizing pollution, developed by the MICCS Project, lead to a 30% faster site investigation and thus reduced the cost for site investigation by 20% compared with conventional methods
The remaining market barriers require a full-scale demonstration of the technological advanced that resulted from the MICCS project. Results will be compared with the existing, conventional methods. This is necessary to obtain a regulatory acceptance of the MICCS technology. This is last obstacle to introducing the technology to the market. The team is looking forward to proving the cost-effectiveness and the advantages of the technology.
